I’m so glad I came across your website. I am currently 5 days past my due date, and your birthing story sounds a lot like mine. I lost my mucus plug on Tuesday night and had contractions 12-15 minutes apart for almost 24 hours before they stopped completely. Now it’s Friday, and I have no progress to report. Luckily, my midwives are not eager to artificially induce labor, but I’m getting a little frustrated. Anyway, thanks for posting your experience!

So glad you found the site too! I hope you’ve got into true labor by now and have a beautiful baby staring up at you. Due dates are the most frustrating things because they cause stress for any mama that goes “late” or “past dates.” But honestly, a baby is going to come when a baby is ready to come. Best of luck!
